The Governor of Cross River State Sen Bassey Edet Otu, has appointed a new Director General of Emergency Management Agency SEMA, in the state, south south Nigeria.
He is Rev James Okon I. Anam.
The Governor’s Chief Press Secretary Emmanuel Ogbeche, in a statement on Monday announced the appointment.
“Bring your wealth of experience to bear in your new role,” the Governor in the statement charges the appointee.
He said the appointment is with immediate effect.
Recall that earlier on the 30th of October Truth Live News reported that the governor Sen Bassey Edet Otu, directed that the former Director General of Cross River State Emergency Management Agency SEMA, Mrs. Angela Ogeyi Odey, be suspended indefinitely.
